Jackie Wilson

Duane Eddy is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer, born on April 26, 1938, in Corning, New York. He is best known for his distinctive "twangy" guitar sound, which he achieved by using a tremolo effect and playing low notes on his bass strings.

Eddy began his music career in the late 1950s, and his first big hit was "Movin' n' Groovin'" in 1958. He went on to release a string of instrumental hits throughout the 1960s, including "Rebel Rouser," "Peter Gunn," and "Because They're Young." He also worked as a session musician, playing guitar on recordings by artists such as Elvis Presley, Brenda Lee, and the Everly Brothers.
